Emails Reveal the late financier and former Trump strategist Ties

In November 2018, Steve Bannon, previously Donald Trump's chief strategist, was in the UK preparing for a speech at the Oxford Union.

The event was interrupted by numerous demonstrators, and Bannon, scheduled to travel that evening, told Jeffrey Epstein in an message: "Protesters slowed down my talk don't think I can catch the plane we are heading to the airport".

Epstein replied: "There. Is a gulf air that leaves at 950 with a layover in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "U r an amazing helper".

These messages were released on Wednesday alongside over 20,000 pages from the records of Epstein, the deceased financier convicted of sex crimes.

The disclosure by the Congressional committee contains an text conversation where Bannon's name is redacted. Media outlets managed to confirm his involvement by cross-referencing the timeline, occurrences, and locations mentioned.

For example, Epstein talks about arranging a jet from Scotland for the redacted user in the chat, and commends their "address at Oxford". Bannon took part in the News Xchange conference on November 14, and gave the talk at the Oxford Union two days later.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any misconduct, did not reply on the inquiry.

Epstein's Assurance to Bannon

Bannon served as the president's key aides in the lead-up to the 2016 election and during the initial phase of his first administration, but resigned from the administration in August 2017.

He has admitted he was producing a documentary about Epstein prior to his passing and allegedly has approximately 15 hours of footage. In a live taping of his podcast recently, he said: "We plan to publish the film, the multi-part documentary, in the coming year - at the start of next year."

But the newly released materials indicate Bannon's relationship with Epstein went further than being his biographer, with the disgraced financier occasionally appearing to serve like a aide.

A short time prior to the exchange in which Epstein appeared to have booked a charter jet for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "how does it feel to have the most highly paid booking agent in history ".

Bannon thanked him: "You are pretty good asst", to which Epstein replied "Therapies. Not Included".

Discussing a trip to "AD" in a separate text, Epstein assured Bannon: "I will ensure you are well looked after."

UK Politics Discussed in Messages

The released messages also show Bannon and Epstein discussing British political matters in 2018.

Earlier on the same day his address at the Oxford, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I've gotten pulled into the EU exit issue this day with Nigel, Johnson and Rees Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a reference to the UK prime minister, the embattled British leader at the time, he continued: "The guys are trying to proceed. May today / tomorrow…"

Epstein suggested Bannon: "I think remaining as much as you can uk. Best-- so people see the dedication of your follow through."

Soon after, Epstein asked: "Will Theresa may survive". Bannon answered: "It seems unlikely BUT the guys over here have no balls" and added "Boris ; Gove; Jacob Rees-Mogg; David Davis - somebody has to take charge".

May was finally toppled in 2019 after withstanding multiple attempts of no confidence in late 2018.

A representative for Reform UK informed the BBC: "Nigel Farage has not been in a meeting with Steve Bannon, Jacob Rees Mogg and Boris Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest that encounter took place.

The US House of Representatives will vote soon on whether the Department of Justice should release all its records concerning its investigation into Epstein, who passed away in prison in 2019.

Attention in Epstein's relationships with powerful figures was renewed recently after the release of more than 20,000 documents from his estate.

Some of those referenced Trump, who has repeatedly rejected any wrongdoing. The leader was a friend of Epstein's for years, but says they parted ways in the 2000s, a couple of years prior to Epstein was first arrested.
